How to Create and Use LinkedIn for Business

Being a professional-oriented social platform, LinkedIn counts millions of businesses that own one or more accounts. Everyone on LinkedIn can watch news, connect with others, hire professionals, etc.

How to use LinkedIn for Business

Create a LinkedIn Page


Everyone on LinkedIn can create a Page, by going to the Work section and selecting the last option: Create a Company Page

Then, you can decide the Page type:

  • Small business (less than 200 employees)
  • Medium to Large Business (more than 200 employees)
  • Showcase page
  • Educational institution

Then, you need to fulfill all the details of your business. Making sure you’re entering them correctly and the URL is appropriate.

  • Page Identity (Name; Linkedin public URL; Website)
  • Company details (Industry; Size; Type)
  • Profile details (Logo; Tagline)

Click Create Page and you’re done.

After you’ve successfully created a new Business Page, you are ready to start updating statuses. You can share photos and videos, create events, etc.

To receive enough post reach and engagement, a page should be updated at least 2 times per week.

There are many useful tricks a social media manager should be informed of a great Page display. Everyone should use the proper image sizes and dimensions and take good care of the insights. LinkedIn analytics consists of Visitors (Pageviews, Unique visitors, Custom button clicks), Updates (Reactions, Comments, Shares), and Followers (Total followers, New followers).
